Here at Amoremia World of Dogs it is my aim to provide you with the best and most comprehensive information on the internet. This will be a one stop shop for you to find the best and most up to date advise, services, training, products, news and entertainment in the canine world.

It is my goal to improve the well being of every dog in the world and to provide the very best opportunities for dogs and their owners so that they enjoy a long, fulfilling, healthy and natural life…together.

Whether it be helping an abandoned dog or puppy find his perfect match….you! or helping you find the best collar for your somewhat spoiled pooch, it makes no difference. If it makes just one little dog and its owner or prospective owner happy it is one step closer to my goal.

About Me

I have been involved with dogs since I was knee high to a Pekingeze.

It wasn’t until the late eighties that I was in a position to have more than two dogs at any one time. However, from then I never had less than nine dogs. I have never looked back and have enjoyed every minute.

My main breed has been Afghan Hounds for which I became passionately involved in Showing, Fun Track Racing and Lure Coursing (Plastic bags) not live animals I hasten to add.

Like everything in life, it has its ups and downs there are good times and there are challenging times. The worst thing for me is that they have such short lives and as a result I have lost some very dear friends over the years. Whether it through old age, illness or accidents it is never an easy thing to deal with.

All Dogs Deserverve Respect and Love

This is why I will never understand how we as human beings can give up on a dog as easily as we do, present company excluded, I hope.

Decisions to abandon or worse, have a dog put down for whatever reason are made everyday, throughout the world. For me this is totally wrong, dogs should enjoy the same rights to life and fulfillment as we do. This, together with need to control the unnecessary breeding of dogs to reduce the overpopulation by stricter rules for dog breeding and voluntary nueturing clinics are things that I will always support and promote at every given opportunity.

I must say though, on a positive note, that during my research of late I am seeing tremendous successes of organizations like Best Friends, I’m a huge fan of their Dog Town set up in Arizona. There are some wonderful Organizations working in third world countries, having great success in educating people to the welfare of our best friends so I remain ever hopeful that suffering and deprivations for dogs and indeed all animals will be a thing of the past.
